Brian E. Provost Named Vice President of Norstan Direct.


MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 1999--

Brian Provost has been named vice president of Norstan Direct, a new position, reporting to Peter Stilson, executive vice president of Communication Solutions. Mr. Provost will be responsible for expanding direct sales through strategic direct marketing methods including web-based technologies to provide greater services to our customers.

In making the announcement, Stilson said, "Brian's extensive experience and success in direct sales add another dimension to the skills of our senior management team. The expansion of Norstan Direct is consistent with our customer-focused sales model to provide more complete coverage to all levels of customer needs and to integrate inside sales with our traditional sales channels.
