AYR UNITED'S part-time players are hoping they won't need to make a U-turn en-route to Dingwall for tonight's game against Ross County.

The Ayr squad are due to leave at lunchtime but with the winter weather continuing, the game is in doubt.

Manager Brian Reid said: "Our lads will take a half day from work if the game is on but if it is postponed after they have left then it is a waste of time."

Defender David Lowing is suspended but Chris Robertson returns and Reid will wait for a late check on Iain Anderson.

County are without keeper Tony Bulloch, Mark McCulloch and Hugh Robertson and boss Derek Adams said: "We simply have to keep on winning."

Berwick keeper Chris Flockhart comes in for the suspended Peter Logan and manager Michael Renwick has no fresh injury worries against Cowdenbeath, who have Bryan Gilfillan suspended but Mark Ramsay and Dougie Hill return.
