Brewerton still third after slip in Shanghai.

Becky Brewerton had a successful amateur career.

The Abergele professional opened with a 71 to be just three off the place then added a 73 to slip to a share of 15th going into the final round.

With two bogies and two birdies she was level par after 12, but she then bogied the 13th, dropped two strokes at the short 17th and another at the 18th for a closing 76.

Despite her disappointing finish, Brewerton comfortably kept her third place in the tour money list. She earned 2,490 euros in Shanghai to take her season's total to 217,175 from 19 events and she is 17,000 ahead of Norway's Marianne Skorpnord in fourth place, Skorpnord hoewever narrowed the gap by earning 10,800 euros for fourth pace on 214 in China.

 event of the Ladies European Tour The Ladies European Tour is a professional golf tour for women which was founded in 1979. It is based in England. Like many UK-based sports organisations it is a company limited by guarantee, a legal structure which enables it to focus on maximising returns to its members through  season the 54 hole Korean Masters starting on Friday.

The final event is the Dubai Masters in a month's time from December 9-12.
