FPBBUL Series Wide Body Flat Panel Carts

The new FPBBUL Series of wide body flat panel carts safely holds and transports any size LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) A display technology that uses rod-shaped molecules (liquid crystals) that flow like liquid and bend light. Unenergized, the crystals direct light through two polarizing filters, allowing a natural background color to show.  and plasma display Also called "gas discharge display," a flat-screen technology that uses tiny cells lined with phosphor that are full of inert ionized gas (typically a mix of xenon and neon). Three cells make up one pixel (one cell has red phosphor, one green, one blue).  weighing up to 85 lbs. The carts offer the most complete range of safety features available. Each full cart (not just the electrical components) is certified to comply with UL standard 1667 for tall institutional carts. They feature a wide body design and two fixed casters casters

The carts have passed a 10-degree incline stability test in order to significantly reduce tipping; they are also load tested to four times the intended weight to ensure a secure platform and long product life.

2642NSKIT and BB Wide Body Cart Retrofit Kits

Bretford introduced some of the industry's first mobile carts back in the 1960s and thanks to the new retrofit kits, carts that are decades old can now continue to be used safely and cost-effectively. The 2642NSKIT retrofit kit is for Bretford's adjustable A2642/CA2642 AV carts, originally designed for reel-to-reel and slide projectors. It includes a pullout pull·out

The new BB Wide Body Cart Retrofit Kits allow schools to convert BB Series CRT-style TV carts from Bretford for use with today's flat panels without having to purchase a new cart. This kit replaces the existing top shelf with a reinforced steel shelf that accommodates the new weight distribution and will not deform or tear. Both kits reduce the amount of materials and energy required during the manufacturing process, not to mention their original shelf is 100 percent steel, which is the No. 1 recyclable re·cy·cle
