Brenner Spearheading Expansion of Marketplace Model To Include Technology Solutions.

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 14, 2000

PaperExchange.com announced today that Bob Brenner will take on the position of CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  effective immediately. Duane DeSisto, who recently was appointed COO, will now also assume the role of President. This move comes as PaperExchange expands its business model to better serve the evolving needs of its customers. Building on its position as a leading online marketplace for the pulp and paper industry The global pulp and paper industry is dominated by North American (United States, Canada), northern European (Finland, Sweden) and East Asian countries (such as Japan). Australasia and Latin America also have significant pulp and paper industries. , PaperExchange is offering leading technology-based business solutions for this industry. Mr. Brenner has been the primary architect of the expansion in the business model.

Mr. Brenner joined PaperExchange from Andersen Consulting See Accenture.  where he was employed for 13 years. During his time with Andersen, Mr. Brenner concentrated on the planning, design and implementation of enterprise-level order management, production and financial systems. He implemented several large solutions for the forest products industry. Mr. Brenner received a B.S. degree in business/economics and accounting from Linfield College and an MBA MBA
