Brenda's Story: My Life with Multiple Sclerosis.

 disease is just that: facing it, living with it, and accommodating its impact on your life. Brenda Newton does that by describing the progression of her MS in painful detail beginning when she was only 18.

Through her story, we see the devotion Brenda feels toward her family and her determination to be part of her children's lives. We appreciate the strength she finds in her religious beliefs and the joy she describes whenever she can participate in simple events.

This book is not great literature, and the authors might have had little to write about had their lives not come to center around a physical challenge. Fortunately for all who live with MS, they have chosen to share their story, reminding us that we are not alone.
