Breeze-Eastern Becomes FAA Certified Repair Station.UNION, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 19, 1999-- Breeze-Eastern, a division of TransTechnology Corporation (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :TT) today received Federal Aviation Administration Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), component of the U.S. Department of Transportation that sets standards for the air-worthiness of all civilian aircraft, inspects and licenses them, and regulates civilian and military air traffic through its air traffic control (FAA) certification to operate as a FAR 145 Repair Station. This certification allows equipment identified on an approved capabilities list to be repaired and/or overhauled and returned to service under Breeze-Eastern's FAA Certified Repair Station Number BZ7R167O.
