Breece Hill Technologies Appoints New Chief Executive Officer; James G. Watson Promoted to CEO, After Management Restructuring by Breece Hill's Board of Directors.


BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 17, 1998--Breece Hill Technologies today announced the promotion of James G. Watson to CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  from vice president of Strategic Programs and Business Development. In addition Watson was appointed to the board of directors at last week's special board meeting. Watson replaces Robert E. Martell, who was appointed as special advisor to the board of directors, and assumes Martell's board seat.

Vernon Taylor III, Breece Hill's Chairman of the Board stated, "Jim joined Breece Hill in 1996 when we were a one product company with the Q7 and has been a key participant in the expansion of our product offerings to over eight separate models with over $35 million in annual revenues." "In addition he was instrumental negotiating Breece Hill's strategic distribution agreements that were established earlier this year with Wyle and Tech Data," added Taylor.

Watson brings over twenty-five years of management experience with high technology companies to Breece Hill. He has held various management positions with the following industry leaders: - Control Data 1966 to 1971 -- Various operations positions - Storage Technology 1972 to 1979 -- Management positions in

operations, sales and marketing - Quantum Corporation 1982 to 1987 -- VP of sales and marketing.

During his tenure he was instrumental in growing revenue from
