Breault Research Organization Receives Export Achievement Award from the United States Department of Commerce.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Breault Research Organization (BRO) has received the Export Achievement Award from the United States Department of Commerce. The award recognizes "recent accomplishments in the global marketplace." Congressman Jim Kolbe and the Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Jon W. Dudas, presented the award on the morning of Sept. 1, 2004.

Eric Nielsen, Frank Woods, Dan Bjerk, Eric Sletten and Kristian Richardson of the Tucson, Phoenix, and Arizona U.S. Export Assistance Centers were witness to the award presentation, which they helped facilitate. Fernando Almeida and John Kellen of the Arizona District Export Council were also in attendance.

"Today we are here to make an award from the Department of Commerce, to recognize some of the outstanding work that has been done by this organization. And when I say organization, I really mean all of you people, because an organization like this consists of people that make it happen. Talent, energy, determination, drive and motivation, and I think it's very obvious, seeing the work that is done here, that all that exists here at BRO," said Kolbe. Dudas acknowledged the significance and complexity of BRO's work, and the importance of the intellectual property created at BRO.
