EDISON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 1997--TCP/Reliable unveiled three new packaging systems during the shareholder's meeting held this morning and introduced the new company's logo and tagline: "Shaping the Future of Packaging."

The new technology scheduled to be available in 1998 will serve the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, already a mainstay of business for the company. Human tissue, medications with requirements for extreme high and low temperature discrete ranges, and logistics for shock and vibration will benefit from the new products.

The revolutionary XI3 (Electronic XI3 Indicator) will document temperature changes with degrees, time duration, and specific Greenwich time when each event occurred. This minute indicator may be inserted in each separate end-user package.

The second product slated for introduction is the RTS (Room Temperature Stabilizer), which will maintain elevated temperatures for certain human tissues.

The third product, TCP's DISE will eliminate the use of dry ice. This phase change refrigerant, used for internal organs and various medications, will maintain temperatures -50 degrees Celsius.

As TCP continues to penetrate the growing Biotech market, the new product design group will continue to develop packaging and transit systems to deliver biogenic and biologic materials safely.
