Mark Lansley, appointed managing director of BMG Ltd., will be responsible for all operations in European markets. "This marks the opening of the company's 12th international office since BMG's inception. With nearly 10 years of experience delivering measured improvements in profitability and performance, Lansley held key roles in both the operations, sales and performance improvement groups of major corporations. Prior to joining BMG, he was the global head of performance optimization for APV Performance Optimization, an international Six Sigma process-based optimization consultancy. His responsibilities included developing new and repeat business and alliances with a range of multinational food, beverage and personal care manufacturing companies in a number of regions and countries. He has also worked for R.P. Scherer Australia (a Cardinal Health subsidiary) and Glaxo (United Kingdom and Australia). Notable 2004 BMG clients in Europe include Vetco International, Siemens and Bechtel, in addition to many others.
