Breakthrough Deals of the Year Award Winners Announced; Investment Dealers' Digest presents its investment banking awards in the December 14 Issue.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 14, 1998--Investment Dealers' Digest, a weekly publication of Securities Data Publishing, announced today the winners of its Breakthrough Deals of the Year Awards in fourteen of the sixteen award categories. The sixteen awards, given to investment banks and bankers for excellence in specified categories, will be presented to the winners at a special awards reception at the Plaza Hotel in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

The fourteen winners of the Breakthrough Deals of the Year Awards are featured and profiled in the December 14th issue of Investment Dealers' Digest. The remaining two award winners, Investment Bank of the Year and Banker of the Year, will be announced at the January 20th reception and featured in the following issue of Investment Dealers' Digest.
