Brazilian Resources, Inc. expands drill program on Cedro Bom Gold Properties.CONCORD, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 19, 1996--Brazilian Resources (CANADIAN DEALING NETWORK Canadian Dealing Network (CDN) The organized OTC market of Canada. Formerly known as the Canadian Over-the-Counter Automated Trading System (COATS), the CDN became a subsidiary of the Toronto Stock Exchange in 1991. :BZIN) Brazilian Resources, Inc. ("BRAZILIAN") announced today that encouraging results from recent surface sampling and ground truthing during Phase II exploration of its Cedro Bom I and II gold properties warrants expansion of the planned diamond drill program from 1,200 meters to approximately 2,400 meters. Garimpeiros are reported to have recovered approximately 400,000 ounces of gold from alluvial workings on the Cedro Bom II concession during the 1980's. The concession south of Cedro Bom II is known as the Filao, which means "vein" in Portuguese. Drilling during Phase I exploration in early 1995 returned significant results from Filao, including 104 g Au/tonne over 0.70 m, 78.2 g Au/t over 0.75 m and 74.9 g Au/t over 1.65 m. The Filao vein structure is believed to be related to the major north/south fault system that cuts across the Cedro Bom concessions where BRAZILIAN is focusing its Phase II exploration this year. BRAZILIAN has recently completed a geochem program on the Camp Zone target on Cedro Bom II along the major shear zone trending northwest from the Filao structure. Surface samples returned values of up to 3.3 g Au/t. According to according to prep. 1. As stated or indicated by; on the authority of: according to historians. 2. Two diamond drills are on site, and BRAZILIAN will drill these geochem and geophysical anomalies beginning next week. BRAZILIAN is currently completing geochem sampling on the Terra Preta Terra preta (which means "dark soil" in Portuguese) refers to expanses of very dark soils found in the Amazon Basin. It is also known as "Amazonian dark earth" or "Indian black earth". In Portuguese its full name is Terra preta do indio or Terra preta de indio. target in the Cedro Bom I concession along an extension of the shear zone. Phase I trench results included values of up to 2.7 g Au/t. This 4 km long target zone is being prepared for drilling due to begin in July. Additional surface sampling results from Phase II exploration on the Cedro Bom concessions should be available within two weeks, with drill assay results available periodically over the next three months. BRAZILIAN owns the exclusive mineral and exploration rights to the Cedro Bom I and II properties consisting of two 10 by 10 km concessions covering 50,000 acres in the northern part of the state of Mato Grosso Mato Grosso (mä`t grô`s ) [Port.,=thick forest], state (1996 pop. ,

The entire land position extends 80 km along a major regional break where several international mining companies have recently begun exploration. Drilling is also underway on BRAZILIAN's 50 percent owned Sabara gold property near Belo Horizonte Belo Horizonte (bəl' rēzôN`tĭ) [Port.,=beautiful horizon], city (1996 pop. 2,091,770), capital of Minas Gerais state, E Brazil. , Brazil. thirty days. The current four drill program is funded to include

Additional exploratory drilling will be completed in the A zone to follow-up positive results of the fall 1995 drill program which returned results of 1.92 g Au/t over 68.0 m including 11.76 g Au/t over 6.0 m in the basal iron formation unit.
