Brazauro to Explore Two New Projects in the Tapajos Region of Brazil.HOUSTON -- Brazauro Resources Corporation (TSX TSX Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE before April, 2002) TSX Transfer from Stack Pointer to Index TSX True Space Extension VENTURE:BZO BZO Bolzano, Italy (airport code) BZO Battle Sight Zero (military; rifle sight setting) ) has acquired interests in two new gold properties in the Tapajos region of Brazil known as Sucuri and Crepori. The Company is embarking on an extensive exploration program to follow up on promising results from initial exploration activities at both properties. Sucuri Exploration crews are currently building a semi-permanent camp and conducting grid geochemical sampling. Brazauro has signed an option-to-purchase agreement with the owner of the exploration license covering 5,400 hectares. Brazauro has applied to the Brazilian authorities for an additional exploration license covering 4,860 hectares. The Sucuri property is located at the southern reaches of the Tapajos District and is accessible by existing roads. The average grade of the vein channel samples is approximately one ounce per ton gold. The vein contains no other metal sulfides besides the pyrite and the copper minerals. The gold is not visible, even in the highest grade specimens. Samples taken from two other known parallel veins returned assay results similar to the main vein (the Alvino Vein). Initial drilling will target the high-grade vein systems. The camp is being prepared for drilling with a rig available in November. An initial drilling program of about 2,000 meters is planned. The ongoing geochemical program should better define the known drill targets and locate other potential targets. Construction will commence following the completion of the camp facilities for the first stage of drilling at Sucuri. Neither Crepori nor Sucuri have been drilled or explored by sophisticated exploration methods.
