See Race. " [July 2004], particularly because Baltimore made the list and I am one of me three top elected officials serving this city. I am currently the comptroller for Baltimore, serving my second term in office. I am only the second African American and second woman to fill this position. As a Baltimore native and owner of an accounting firm in the city, I can attest To solemnly declare verbally or in writing that a particular document or testimony about an event is a true and accurate representation of the facts; to bear witness to. To formally certify by a signature that the signer has been present at the execution of a particular writing so as to the opportunities that await African Americans in Baltimore. Continuous efforts are made to attract businesses to Baltimore that will create jobs for its residents, in addition to encouraging minority-owned firms to do business with the city. Through a partnership with the state, there is an effort to recapture recapture n. in income tax, the requirement that the taxpayer pay the amount of tax savings from past years due to accelerated depreciation or deferred capital gains upon sale of property.
