On Saturday, June 30, just days after the fall of one of the greatest screen legends of our time, BRAVO will honor the memory of the late Jack Lemmon. BRAVO's homage to the great actor by airing a special presentation that will include two of Lemmon's films and encoring Lemmon's landmark appearance on BRAVO's Inside The Actors Studio during which he announced for the first time in public that he was an alcoholic. Tune in to BRAVO Saturday, June 30 and help honor the memory of this Hollywood legend.

Jack Uhler Lemmon III got his early start in radio, theater and television, where he starred in 500 live shows before his film debut in It Should Happen To You (1953). A mere two years later, Jack Lemmon won his first Academy Award for his role as the menacing Ensign Pulver in John Ford's classic Mister Roberts. He went on to star in more than 70 films, including Some Like It Hot, Days of Wine and Roses, The China Syndrome and Glengarry Glen Ross.

PRISONER of 2nd AVENUE 2:30PM/ET & 11:30AM/PT

Neil Simon walks a tightrope between comedy and melancholia, and never falls, thanks to warm performances by Lemmon, as suddenly unemployed executive who has a nervous breakdown, and Anne Bancroft, as his understanding wife. Look for Sylvester Stallone as an alleged pickpocket and F. Murray Abraham as a cabbie.

INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO: JACK LEMMON 7:00PM/ET & 4:00PM/PT

The two-time Oscar winner discusses his distinguished career with host James Lipton on BRAVO's Inside The Actors Studio. Lemmon, whose passion for acting is apparent in all of his work, found early screen success was in comedy, his dramatic versatility was first witnessed in Blake Edwards' Days of Wine and Roses, opposite Lee Remick (1962). This riveting tale of a co-dependent alcoholic couple was Lemmon's first dramatic role and won him his fourth Oscar nomination. His realistic and intense performance hit close to home because of his own personal struggle with alcoholism, as Lemmon shares with BRAVO.

Lemmon plays a city slicker looking to get a hold of some herbs from Piper Laurie's "Dolly" in this thoughtful drama is based on Truman Capote's evocative memoir of his boyhood in the South, where his wealthy aunt and her lightheaded sister raised him. The film features an exquisite performance by Laurie as the boy's free-spirited soul mate - a performance matched by Sissy Spacek , who plays woman hardened by life.
