, Little Jimmy Scott Jimmy Scott (July 17, 1925 in Cleveland) is an American jazz vocalist.

Scott has Kallmann's syndrome, a genetic condition which stunted his growth at five feet and prevented him reaching puberty, leaving him with a high, undeveloped soprano voice, hence his nickname "Little"
, through a special partnership that features a multilevel promotional campaign, a major national tour, and exclusive CD's. Highlighting this partnership is a series of 11 free live musical performances by Little Jimmy Scott at Borders Books and Music Stores nation-wide. The multi-city tour kicks-off Wednesday, February 17 in Cincinnati, heightening awareness of the legendary jazz performer and promoting the television special, "Bravo Profiles: Little Jimmy Scott."

In conjunction with Bravo's original co-production, a new CD from Rhino Records featuring 12 recordings by Little Jimmy Scott will be available exclusively at Borders Books & Music. "Bravo Profiles A Jazz Master: Little Jimmy Scott" features Scott's own arrangements of classic tunes, including "Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child," "Our Day Will Come," "For Once in My Life," and "Stay With Me."

The tour continues the partnership of the two companies in support of "Bravo Profiles", Bravo's original signature series, which documents the work and creative process of modern influential artists. Beginning February 15, "Bravo Profiles" moves its nightly schedule from 8:00 PM/ET to 10:00 PM/ET and 10:30 PM/PT.

In addition to the in-store events, Borders will prominently display "Bravo Profiles" marketing materials including shelf-talkers, point-of-purchase displays, stantion signage and window displays in all superstores nation-wide. Bravo will create and air special Borders spots nationally, and there will also be heavy promotion of the retailer on Bravo's web site bravotv.com.
