Brassai.CENTRE GEORGES POMPIDOU Centre Georges Pompidou (constructed 1971–1977 and known as the Pompidou Centre in English) is a complex in the Beaubourg area of the IVe arrondissement of Paris, near Les Halles and the Marais. This second major retrospective celebrating the centennial of Brassai's birth comes on the heels of the still touring Houston Museum of Fine Art effort. Although the sheer number of works is impressive, the show does face stiff competition from Houston's thoughtfully edited gem.
