Brasil Telecom Selects Convergys' Geneva Software to Provide Rating and Billing for 2 Million Wireline Business Customers.

Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), the global leader in integrated billing, employee care, and customer care services, announced today a multi-year licensed Geneva(TM) billing services contract with Brasil Telecom S.A. (NYSE: BTM; BOV: BRTO3/BRTO4). The multi-year contract represents the first Geneva sale in Latin America.

Brasil Telecom, one of the largest telecommunications companies in Brazil and Latin America, will initially use Geneva to support wireline telecommunication services for its 2 million corporate customers. These customers annually generate more than 810 million call detail records.
