Multiple technical problems and some concern about the future viability of their existing vendor fueled Brasher's decision to move to a new database platform, according to Brewer. Using charts that specified Brasher's database requirements that were weighted based on their relative importance, the IT team reviewed and compared the major products in the MV space.
