Brascan SoundVest Diversified Income Fund Announces April Distribution.

TORONTO -- Brascan SoundVest Diversified Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:BSI.UN) is pleased to announce that a distribution of $0.075 per trust unit will be payable on May 16, 2005 to unitholders of record on April 29, 2005.

Distribution Reinvestment Plan 

Unitholders of the Fund may elect to automatically reinvest monthly distributions in additional units of the Fund through the Fund's Distribution Reinvestment Plan (the "Plan"). Participants in the Plan may also purchase additional units of the Fund for cash. The optional cash purchases require a minimum of $100 per payment. The Brascan SoundVest Diversified Income Fund is an actively managed investment fund which invests in a diversified portfolio of business trusts, power generation and pipeline trusts, oil and gas royalty trusts, and REITS.
