.), today announced that the company had received all required approvals for the listing of its Class A common shares on the New York Stock Exchange New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)

Brascan will commence trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol BNN on Wednesday, December 20, 2000. Brascan's Class A common shares will continue to trade under this symbol on the Toronto and Brussels' stock exchanges, but will no longer trade on the American Stock Exchange American Stock Exchange (AMEX)
