Brandon, Moldenhauer, Hash to build $3.5M office building.

Gary Brandon, Margie Moldenhauer and Brett Hash plan to build a three-story, 28,350-SF building at the site of an old Shoney's restaurant just north of Fayetteville's Northwest Arkansas Mall. The large-scale development was approved by the Fayetteville Planning Commission on Oct. 27.

Brandon said the group has a letter of intent to buy the 1.8-acre property from the Macerich Co., which owns the mall. The entire project, including land purchase, will cost about $3.5 million, he said.

Brandon said he will move the office of Gary Brandon Enterprises Inc., currently in Springdale, to the new building. Moldenhauer and Hash, who work for Re/Max Associates Inc. Realtors, will also move their offices to the new building. Brandon said the building is already two-thirds leased. A mortgage company and a title company also plan to relocate there.

Brandon said construction should begin in January or February and be completed by the end of 2004.

Engineering Services Inc. of Springdale is the engineer on the project.
