Torrington Municipal & Teachers Federal Credit Union is a community credit union serving Litchfield County, Connecticut Litchfield County is located in the northwestern corner of the U.S. state of Connecticut. As of 2004 the population was 189,246. This was an increase of 3.87% from the 2000 census. It is part of the New York Metropolitan Area. . Torrington has engaged Willey Brothers to expand its office at 777 East Main Street. The expansion includes a 2,400 square foot addition to existing office, which will also be renovated. The credit union has been growing rapidly in recent years and the construction project is to support its membership growth.
