Branch survivability platform.

Based on a single software platform supporting a networked architecture, the natively IP OmniPCX Enterprise is designed to support all business communication requirements, from the largest campuses to smaller sites and branch locations. Key components include Linux-based communication manager software that operates on off-the-shelf Linux servers or integrated blade servers A server architecture that houses multiple server modules ("blades") in a single chassis. It is widely used in datacenters to save space and improve system management. Either self-standing or rack mounted, the chassis provides the power supply, and each blade has its own CPU, memory and  and a suite of media gateways addressing all configuration sizes. This allows enterprises to reduce the integration cost associated with IS applications by having a single communication platform for the whole organization. OmniPCX include full geographic redundancy for disaster protection and automatic service recovery for full featured branch office survivability sur·viv·a·ble

Primarily used for voice over IP (VoIP) calls, SIP can also be used for video or any media type; for example, SIP has been used to set up multi-player Quake games.  for advanced IP-based communication. Its architecture is optimized for the deployment of full I configurations and supports a smooth transition for enterprises requiring blended IP and TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) A technology that transmits multiple signals simultaneously over a single transmission path.
