MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 25, 1996--Silicon Valley Research, Inc. (Nasdaq:SVRI SVRI Sexual Violence Research Initiative (Pretoria, South Africa)
SVRI Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute (Menomonee, WI)
) today announced that the institutional research department of Branch, Cabell & Company, have just published a report on the Company.

The following abstract is quoted directly from the report.

"We are initiating coverage of Silicon Valley Research, Inc. (SVRI) with a Strong Buy due to their strong product line of proprietary software for deep submicron IC design. With the recent introduction of the SVR Noun 1. SVR - Russia's intelligence service responsible for foreign operations, intelligence-gathering and analysis, and the exchange of intelligence information; collaborates with other countries to oppose proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, terrorism and  SonIC as well as the strategic alliance announced in May 1996 with Lucent Technologies' (LU) research and development division Bell Labs, we believe SVRI has the opportunity to gain significant market share in the rapidly expanding deep submicron design market. Over the next year, most of the major IC manufacturers will convert to submicron designs, dramatically increasing the need for design software packages. We believe, given the rapid shift to submicron designs and their complex nature, SVRI is poised to experience strong growth."
