For the nine months ended September 30, the Company reported net income of $925,000 (8 cents per share). For the same period in 1995, the Company recorded net income of $2,284,000 (21 cents per share), including a gain of $3,937,000 on the sale of property from land held for redevelopment.

Net sales for the nine months are $18,856,000 compared to $13,017,000 last year. Operating profit before interest costs and other items is $3,205,000, which is up from $924,000 in 1995.

Brampton Brick is Canada's second largest producer of clay bricks and holds a 38.2 percent interest in the largest producer of concrete blocks in Ontario. The Company's products are used for residential construction and industrial, commercial and institutional building projects. The Company's 80 percent-owned subsidiary, Roxy Construction Co.
