It helped to popularize the works of composers like Steve Reich and Philip Glass; the Center has also hosted shows by performers ranging from the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra to Ladysmith in Beverly Hills Beverly Hills, city (1990 pop. 31,971), Los Angeles co., S Calif., completely surrounded by the city of Los Angeles; inc. 1914. The largely residential city is home to many motion-picture and television personalities. . A 500-seat theater, the Goldsmith Theater, will be named in their honor. Bram Goldsmith is chairman of City National Corp. and Elaine Goldsmith is on the board of Otis College Art and Design.
