Braintree, Mass.--Jewish-Catholic relations have hit a few rocky patches of late, but in March one small light of reconciliation flickered again.

BRAINTREE, Mass. -- Jewish-Catholic relations have hit a few rocky patches of late, but in March one small light of reconciliation flickered again. The Associated Press reported that Cardinal Walter Kasper, the Vatican's top liaison to Jews, joined Holocaust survivors and local Roman Catholic leaders in rededicating the Yom Hashoah Menorah in memory of Holocaust victims at the Boston archdiocese's offices.

"This memorial will remind us ... of our common duty and common responsibility for the future," Kasper said.
