Brainshark Teams with Karta Technologies in $483 Million DLETP Contract with US Army; Company Will Enable Rapid Communications and Training as Part of Distributed Learning Initiative.


WALTHAM, Mass. -- Brainshark, the leader in on-demand rich-media communications solutions, today announced that it has been chosen to be a part of a $483M contract awarded to defense contractor Karta Technologies, Inc. (Karta) by the United States Army's Distributed Learning, Education and Training Products (DLETP DLETP Distributed Learning Education and Training Products (US DoD) ) program. The DLETP program is part of the Army's continuous effort to maintain high-quality training for all of its troops.

Under the terms of the agreement, Brainshark will add its patented offerings for on-demand rich media communications and expertise in Rapid eLearning to a team of innovative product and service providers selected by Karta. Together, the group will provide distance learning technologies to U.S. troops whenever and wherever training is needed in order to keep up with the changing needs of the Army and the Nation.
