Brainbox Fraser's a top Fellow.


A SCOT has become the first state school-educated pupil to achieve one of the UK's highest academic accolades.

Fraser Campbell, 22, from Kirkintilloch, has become a Fellow of Oxford's University's All Souls College, which was founded in 1438.

Fraser, a former pupil of St Ninian's High in Kirkintilloch, said: "It opens up all sorts of opportunities.

"I was interviewed by 60 current Fellows sitting around a long table, which was daunting daunt
