BrainTech Inc. Announces Reseller Agreement With Numerical Algorithms Group Inc.

NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 1999--

BrainTech (OTC BB:BNTI) announces a reseller agreement with the Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG), a leading supplier of numerical routines for mathematical and statistical analysis.

The NAG Library product will be an optional library available with the ODYSEE Development Studio, set for release on July 1st, 1999. The ODYSEE Development Studio is a productivity tool for the rapid design and testing of machine vision applications. It allows system integrators to quickly develop prototypes for commercial applications. NAG develops software that provides users with accurate, robust and easy to use numerical software components for expeditious application development.

NAG Libraries have been under continuous development for nearly thirty years and cover most areas of mathematics and statistics. NAG collaborates with the world leaders in numeric disciplines and computer science to provide users with the finest state-of-the-art algorithms. For example, NAG partnered with Intel to create an improved version of the high performance Intel Math Kernel Library (MKL) which provides optimal performance on new and future Intel based computers.
