BrainStorm Interactive Initiates Registration For Online Community Of 28 Jesuit Colleges And Universities.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 6, 1997--

Unique Private Cyber Community Created for Alumni and Students

BrainStorm Interactive Inc., creator and operator of BranchOut online communities (www.branchout.com), today announced it has initiated registration for students and alumni of the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities across the US. By registering early, members of the new online community will have their alumni affiliation verified and receive confirmation of their membership prior to the site's formal launch on October 27, 1997. This marks the second BranchOut virtual community designed around a college affinity group A special interest group. This is a marketing term for a group of people with similar interests. .

BranchOut communities enable their members to tap into the power of ever expanding alumni networks. By leveraging common bonds through BranchOut, members can find contacts that can lead to new jobs, employees, customers, and social contacts - all within a safe, private environment.

Registration and membership to the site is open to all graduates and students of the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities across the country. Currently, there are a over one million alumni from the schools that form this second community.
