RANGERS' refusal to play Brahim Hemdani Brahim Hemdani (born 15 March 1978 in Colombes, France) is a French professional football player of Algerian origin who currently plays for Rangers F.C. in the Scottish Premier League.  last season could cost him his World Cup dream.

The Algerian midfielder (right) was dumped into the reserves at Ibrox after rejecting a move in January.

The 31-year-old decided to see out his contract until June which cost the champions a fortune.

But Hemdani has been warned by Algeria boss Radi Sadane to find another club of a similar stature to Rangers or risk missing out on South Africa South Africa, Afrikaans Suid-Afrika, officially Republic of South Africa, republic (2005 est. pop. 44,344,000), 471,442 sq mi (1,221,037 sq km), S Africa. . He said: "Hemdani needs to be playing at a level as good as Rangers."
