Most of Ramrod Gold's third phase of drilling has been concentrated on the highly prospective Colorback claims located three miles north of the proposed new mine on the Amax Gold/Coral Gold Robertson project which contains reserves of 750,000 ounces of gold. During this third phase of drilling, 14 holes totaling 5,905 feet have been drilled in the north-central portion of the Colorback claims approximately 1,000 feet west of the somewhat deeper gold mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. The zone remains open to the west, southwest and perhaps southeast where the thickest and/or highest grade intercepts have been encountered. This mineralization is extremely encouraging since its shallow oxidized nature will lend itself to extraction by low cost open pit mining and heap leach leach v. leached, leach·ing, leach·es v.tr. 1.
