Total sales for the four-week period increased 12.1% to $106.6 million, compared to $95.1 million in the prior-year period. Year-to-date comparable store sales for the 30-week period ended August 28, 1999 increased 15.7% over the prior-year period. Total sales for the 30 weeks were up 14.4% to $813.4 million, compared to $711.2 million in 1998.
