Bradlees Launches New 'Silver Circle' Program for Seniors; 'Silver Circle' Program Features Two Discount Days, Free Coffee Service, Exclusive Coupons.

Bradlees Bradlees was a chain of discount department stores which operated primarily in the Northeastern United States. The chain went bankrupt in 2000 and all of its stores were closed by March 2001. , Inc. (NASDAQ-BRAD) has launched a new "Silver Circle" program designed to increase market share among senior citizen customers by offering seniors even more reasons to shop at Bradlees stores.

The program continues the additional 10% discount on all store merchandise on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and features even more benefits for senior customers. Among the new benefits on the discount days are:

--Free coffee

--Discount on delivery and assembly on selected items

--Carry-out service

--10% discount at the snack bar

--Store greeter to facilitate the benefits of the program

Anyone age 62 or older is eligible to be a Silver Circle member. Upon enrolling, senior customers also receive coupons COUPONS. Those parts of a commercial instrument which are. to be cut, and which are evidence of something connected with the contract mentioned in the instrument. They are generally attached to certificates of loan, where the interest is payable at particular periods, and, when the  entitling them to additional savings. The Silver Circle card they will receive identifies them as a program member and speeds checkout and processing of delivery and assembly.
