James Keaster, senior vice president at Bradford National Bank, the bank researched several teller applications before deciding to implement Teller Suite. "We had some definite goals for our new system and did our homework before selecting Teller Suite. Being a community bank means that we do everything possible to serve our customers efficiently and professionally with personal service. Teller Suite gives us the ability to give our customers fast and courteous service."

The bank's previous system only provided an offline environment, so balances were not truly reflective of current deposits and withdrawals. Teller Suite provides capabilities for real-time monitoring of teller status, including cash totals, transaction totals and detailed transaction lists. Data can be viewed from the current transaction journal or from the historical transaction journal, and detailed transaction history can be maintained indefinitely for all tellers.

"Our previous system was limiting our ability to provide our customers with all the information they wanted in a timely manner," Keaster continued. "For example, if a customer wanted to inquire about a specific check clearing, the teller had to step away from the window, research the request and then come back with an answer. Now the information is available with one keystroke key·stroke

Bradford National Bank takes pride in knowing its customers but occasionally an unfamiliar person might visit a branch that was not their primary location. With Teller Suite's Signature Verification module the bank can alleviate any uncomfortable moments of not recognizing someone. "Being able to pull a signature up on the screen eliminates having to ask the customer for his or her

identification," Keaster said, "and it also can help us with fraud protection for large dollar items."

Rick Kramer, Operations manager See datacenter manager.  for NSO said, "Teller Suite has proven to be very successful with our bank clients because it is a true customer service workstation. We did not want to have tellers unnecessarily searching through the system to locate information. We wanted to offer a system that allowed them to have the information at their fingertips "Fingertips" is a 1963 number-one hit single recorded live by "Little" Stevie Wonder for Motown's Tamla label. Wonder's first hit single, "Fingertips" was the first live, non-studio recording to reach number-one on the Billboard Pop Singles chart in the United States. , so that serving the customer would not be labor-intensive.

"Teller Suite is flexible and can be customized to meet the individual needs of each of our partner banks. This gives them the look and feel that they want, and Bradford National Bank took advantage of that ability. We look forward to a long relationship with them."

Since 1984, Bradford National Bank has changed its hardware and software several times. Keaster said that converting to the Teller Suite product was the easiest transition the bank has ever made because they (NSO) were able to tailor what the software does to what the bank was already doing. "We did not have to experience significant training time when we began using Teller Suite which was very nice for the banks and its customers," Keaster added.
