Brad Margolis Named Chief Operating Officer of The Coding Source.

LOS ANGELES -- The Coding Source LLC, a nationally recognized provider of outsourced medical coding services, temporary coders, risk adjustment auditing and certified medical coding training programs, today announced that Brad Margolis has been named chief operating officer of the company.

Margolis fills a new position in the fast-growing company, which is based in Los Angeles and serves clients nationwide. Prior to joining The Coding Source, he was vice president of operations for Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI), where he oversaw internal processes, billing and collections for the 350-employee specialty health services provider.

Margolis' previous experience included the founding of Global Business Solutions, a Chicago-based management consulting firm still in existence, several years as the operations manager for Ourhouse.com, an online retailer, and three years as an information technology consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

In addition, repeated violations can result in criminal liabilities and a healthcare provider losing Medicare or Medicaid provider status.
