Bracco Diagnostics and AmeriNet Expand Agreement on Contrast Agents; Bracco Earns Elite Preferred Contract for MRI Agent ProHance.

PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 2003

Bracco Diagnostics Inc. and AmeriNet, Inc. today announced an agreement designating Bracco as an Elite Preferred provider of Magnetic Resonance Imaging magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), noninvasive diagnostic technique that uses nuclear magnetic resonance to produce cross-sectional images of organs and other internal body structures.  (MRI 1. ) contrast agents for AmeriNet members.

This Elite Preferred (EP) agreement covers Bracco's ProHance(R) (gadoteridol injection), awarding Bracco with purchases from pre-commited AmeriNet members, and dual-source status with all other AmeriNet members.

This contract is in addition to two other AmeriNet agreements with Bracco that include the non-ionic compound Isovue(R) (iopamidol injection). Since 1996, Bracco has provided Isovue and other contrast media through the AmeriNet Elite program.
