Boys & Girls Club starts New Year on high note.


The Boys & Girls Club Girls Club is a 2002 American television series created by David E. Kelley, who was also it's producer and executive producer. Only two out of a total of thirteen episodes created were broadcast on Fox Television in the United States and Global Television in Canada.  of Stamford will soon be filled with music as it kicks off a 13-week pilot music program in January 2007 developed by the Stamford Symphony.

Jodi Gutierrez, VP of property management, George Comfort & Sons, presented a $10,000 check to help fund the new pilot program at a recent Stamford Chamber event hosted at High Ridge Park Corporate Center, Stamford, CT.

Mayor Dannel P. Mayor Malloy was present on behalf of the City of Stamford and to show his support of the new program.

The City's Community Arts Partnership The Community Arts Partnership (usually known as CAP) was established in 1990,and is the first program of its kind in the U.S. The program links the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) to community art centers and public schools throughout Los Angeles County as part of an  Program has also donated do·nate

There will be 120 children, ages 6 to 8, benefiting from 45 minute music lessons each week taught by Symphony musicians. We are so grateful to George Comfort & Sons and to the City of Stamford for providing the funding to kick off this exciting pilot partnership with the Stamford Symphony," says Sonya D. Van Norden, executive director of the Stamford Boys & Girls Club.
