SINGING sensation Susan Boyle (left) last night made it through to the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent where she will battle it out with 39 other acts, including 11 year-old Birmingham dance star Aidan Davis.

Also through to the semi-finals is a woman and her dancing dog and a group of farmers who perform with a wheelbarrow.

The 48-year-old spinster gathered a worldwide following and celebrity fans, including Demi Moore and Jon Bon Jovi, since belting out I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables on the programme.

Meanwhile Aidan, of Selly Oak, is also gathering supporters after wowing judges with his amazing dance routine, which stunned Simon Cowell who told the youngster he was 'super, super, super talented'. He is now regarded as a top contender to win.

The pupil at St Thomas Aquinas School, in Kings Norton, taught himself to dance after admiring George Sampson on the show last year. In a special edition of the show on ITV last night the judges announced the 40 acts they want to go through to the live semi-finals..
