Boyfriend denies murder.

A MAN has denied murdering his girlfriend.

David Gilligan, 21, appeared before Liverpool crown court and pleaded not guilty to the murder of Jennifer Hart.

Miss Hart, 20, was found dead at her house in Berrys Lane, Parr, St Helens 'Parr' is a former village, now situated within St. Helens, England and is located towards the eastern side of the town. Incorrectly, it is reportedly named after King Henry VIII's wife Catherine Parr. However the area dates back to the West Derby 100 districts from the 12th century. , on November 25 last year.

She had been battered to death.

Judge Gerald Clifton fixed his trial to begin on May 16 and further remanded Gilligan in custody until then.
