Transportation Inc. (Nasdaq/NM:BOYD) today announced that its Board of Directors has named W. Miller Welborn (age 40) President and Chief Executive Officer on a permanent basis. Welborn has served as Acting President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since mid-July 1998, when Donald G. Johnston retired from those positions.
