Boy hurt getting on bus.


A 12-YEAR-OLD boy was left with serious injuries in a double-decker bus A double-decker bus is a bus that has two levels. While double-decker long-distance coaches are in widespread use around the world, double-decker city buses are less common.  in Coventry.

The youngster is understood to have been attempting to get on the bus after it had stopped inQuornWay, Ernesford Grange Ernesford Grange is a suburb of Coventry, West Midlands. It is in the southeast of the city and borders the Binley, Stoke Aldermoor and Willenhall areas. It is part of the Coventry South Constituency.  at about 6.20pm on Monday when the incident happened.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his foot.

He remains there, in a serious but stable condition.

Police are appealing for witnesses to get in touch.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with information, should call the road policing unit at Fletchamstead Highway on 0845 113 5000.
