Boy finds pounds 10k and gives it in.

A TEENAGER who found pounds 10,000 cash stuffed in two bags at a bus stop was yesterday hailed Britain's most honest schoolboy.

Nathan Gittings, 14, ran home with the stash stash Drug slang noun A place where illicit drugs are hidden  and told his mum: "Look what I've just found."

He immediately phoned the police to tell them he had stumbled across a fortune.

Mum Sharon, 36, said: "Nathan had never seen so much money in his life.

"He was saving up to buy a fishing rod - but he didn't touch a penny of it.

"Instead he bought the bags home and put them on the kitchen table.

"We just sat there staring at it waiting for the police to come."

Trustworthy Nathan from Hengoed, near Caerphilly Caerphilly (kīrfĭl`ē, kär–), Welsh Caerffili, town (1981 pop. 42,376) and county borough, 108 sq mi (279 sq km), S Wales. , South Wales South Wales south nsud m du Pays de Galles , found the cash in plastic bags at a disused bus stop.

Detectives later traced the grateful owner and returned the money.

Gwent Police said: "Nathan did very well - he must be the most honest schoolboy in the country."
