Boy dies in blaze.


A 12-year-old boy has died in a house fire in West Yorkshire, police said yesterday.

Officers were called by the fire service to a property on Kinara Close, in Stockbridge, Keighley, at 11.30pm on Saturday.

A West Yorkshire Police West Yorkshire Police is the Home Office police force responsible for policing West Yorkshire in England. It is the fourth largest force in England and Wales by number of officers, with 5671 officers.  statement said: "A 12-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire." A Fire Service spokesman said: "West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service The West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service is the county-wide, statutory emergency fire and rescue service for the Metropolitan county of West Yorkshire, England. It is administered by a joint authority of 22 people who are appointed annually from the five Metropolitan Boroughs of  tackled a house fire at an address in Kinara Close, Stockbridge, Keighley, at 11.30pm on Saturday, April 4." Police said a post-mortem examination on the boy was due to be carried out yesterday..
