Boy George 'handcuffed and beat male escort'.Byline: ANI London, November 25 (ANI): Singer Boy George George Alan O'Dowd, better known as Boy George (born June 14, 1961 in Eltham, London) is a rock singer-songwriter. George grew up in a large, working-class Irish family, which originated in Thurles, in Co. Tipperary, Ireland. handcuffed a male escort to his bedroom wall and thrashed him with a metal chain before the Norwegian fled in his boxers, a court has heard. The 46-year-old songwriter, born as George Alan O'Dowd, had contacted the 29-year-old Audun Carlsen on the Gaydar website for a nude photo shoot at his flat to which the latter had agreed. During the first shoot, the duo had sniffed cocaine together while the lead singer of the eighties band 'Culture Club' performed oral sex on Carlsen. The singer later became suspicious and accused Carlsen for hacking his laptop along with repeated charges that the young man had been ignoring him. However, Dowd Dowd is a derivation of an ancient surname which was once common in Ireland but is now quite rare. The name Dowd is an Anglicisation of the original Ui Dubhda, through its more common form O'Dowd. later invited Carlsen for a second photo shoot where the songwriter, with the help of an unknown person, dragged the escort towards the bedside and handcuffed him before returning with a box including chains, sex toys and leather straps. "They pulled me down on to the floor and they were sitting on top of me. George was slapping me and beating me and punching me and screaming f****** whore 'whore' 'Hired gun', see there , now you are going to get what you deserve," the Mirror quoted Carlsen as saying. Carlsen, who had managed to flee into the street wearing just his boxers had been helped by a shopkeeper who called the police. While the court saw photographs of deep red welts on Carlsen's head and his injured arm, Dowd has denied charges against him.
