The teenage passenger was in a Rover Metro travelling northbound on the M6 when the car ploughed into the central reservation close to junction 1 near Rugby. Police said he was thrown from the car onto the opposite carriageway carriageway Noun 1. Sgt Mark Watkins, from the Central Motorway Police Group The Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) is a co-operative operation between three police forces in the West Midlands of England. Officers from the three forces involved - Staffordshire Police, West Mercia Constabulary and West Midlands Police - provide a dedicated policing , said the driver of the Vauxhall Corsa, a 31-year-old man from Tamworth, was not injured. Police sealed off the M6 in both directions for some hours. Officers want to hear from anyone who saw the accident. |
