Boy, 16, is quizzed in school fire alert.


A 16-year-old boy was being questioned last night after entering a school armed with a knife, matches and a canister of what was thought to be flammable liquid Generally, a flammable liquid means a liquid which may catch fire easily.

In the USA, there is a precise definition of flammable liquid as one with a flashpoint below 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
, police said.

The boy was arrested at Attleborough See also Attleboro, Massachusetts, Attleborough, Warwickshire.

Attleborough is a market town and civil parish in Norfolk, England situated between Norwich and Thetford. The parish falls within the district of Breckland and has an area of 21.
 High School, in Attleborough, Norfolk, at 11.30am yesterday after a message was posted on a website.

A Norfolk police spokesman said the boy had been arrested on suspicion of threatening to commit criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon.

Superintendent Katie Elliott, of Norfolk police, said: "The constabulary was alerted by a member of the public after a message was posted on a website inferring the criminal damage of Attleborough High School.
